Hello, my name is Claire Emma Wragg (AAD) and I am the principal and founder of Star and Stage Musical Theatre Group. I have over 45 years of experience in music, singing and theatre education. I started Star and Stage with 1 goal in mind : to give all of my students an equal opportunity to perform, no matter what their abilities are or what their background may be.

 

Here at Star and Stage, we are more than just a group, we are a family and we all support each other immensely. I emphasise personal and social learning – building self-confidence, working with others, respect and consideration, and empathy. I also want my students to realise that you can focus on theatre and performance skills, such as : stage techniques, projection, and movement.

 

My number one priority is my student’s needs. I aim to bring out the best in every single student through my classes and for them to have as much fun whilst doing so as possible. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you or your child improves…and we’re not just talking about their newfound skills in dancing, singing and acting. Our students also develop excellent communication skills, grow in self-esteem and enjoy the benefits of improved coordination and fitness levels ! All of our students learn essential life skills that will stay with them forever, and we also like to make sure that they remember that our environments were always positive ones.

 

We welcome performers or non-performers of all abilities from the age of 4 up to 100 years to our unique weekly MT, dance or private singing classes.
