Musical Theatre
Our musical theatre classes run every Saturday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with an age partition of 4-20 year olds. The aim of our classes is to educate children about the performing arts industry whilst having fun, socialising and expressing themselves in an artistic manner. In our classes, you will learn how to sing, dance and act ! In our annual shows, musical theatre students will usually be apart of a shortened compilation of a musical - for example Shrek, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or Bugsey Malone. These pieces are story-lined with dialogue, dances and most importantly, musical numbers ; we hope you enjoy our interpretations. If you are attending for the first time, class will be FREE ! No contracts are signed upon joining, but quarterly payments are advised; each class is only £10. We would love to see your child participate in our welcoming, accepting and talented bunch of students.
Junior Dance classes
Our juniors are educated by a trained IDTA pupil each Saturday from 9:00 - 9:30 am and follow the IDTA syllabus, using technique in every dance routine or class. Junior classes are perfect for those who have little experience or are just getting started, to learn foundations and necessary technique. We pride ourselves on our students' learning terminology and gaining confidence whilst dancing and making friends - our dance classes are wonderful opportunities for aspiring young dancers or children who wish to gain confidence through dancing ! Intermediate Dance classes
Our inters are educated by a trained IDTA pupil each Saturday from 9:00 - 9:30 am and follow the IDTA syllabus, using technique in every dance routine or class. Intermediate classes are perfect for those with previous dance experience who want to expand their skills. We pride ourselves on our students' learning terminology and gaining confidence whilst dancing and making friends - our dance classes are wonderful opportunities for aspiring young dancers or children who wish to gain confidence through dancing ! Join our class with Miss Ella now for £4 per session
Senior Dance Classes
Our seniors are educated by a trained IDTA pupil each Saturday from 9:00 - 9:30 am and follow the IDTA syllabus, using technique in every dance routine or class. Senior dance classes follow a more advanced pathway, with advanced technical choreography and stamina. We pride ourselves on our students learning terminology and gaining confidence whilst dancing and making friends - our dance classes are wonderful opportunities for aspiring young dancers or children who wish to gain confidence through dancing ! Private Lessons
Our private vocal lessons, conducted by our principal Claire Wragg, are the perfect opportunities for a one-on-one session to improve your vocal abilities. All ages and abilities are welcomed. Explore your vocal technique and performance every single week in all styles !
Private vocal coaching lessons operate Monday - Friday in selected time frames through organisation or request with Claire Wragg.
As of current, slots for singing lessons are close to being fully occupied due to high demand. Waiting lists are now being made, where Claire will message back when there is a slot available. Thank you for your understanding and for showing interest in Star and Stage Musical Theatre Group.
