The commitment to us students at Star and Stage is outstanding. The energy and enthusiasm is boundless, while leading and inspiring by example and is a constant source of innovative ideas. Claire helps each student to discover and develop their own talents, whether in dance, drama or singing and allows them to progress at a pace that suits them, and offers numerous performance opportunities to develop self-confidence. Stagecraft and wider skills in engaging with an audience are also taught to an incredible standard. The Star and Stage team are evidently putting a lot of effort into developing a strong team spirit amongst cast members and fostering a real sense of enjoyment in rehearsing and performing together. I couldn’t recommend it strongly enough, the difference it has made in me is astronomical.

I’ve seen children come into Star and Stage so shy, their heads down and some even cry when their parents leave. But after just a few weeks the change in them is incredible, their parents say the difference in their children is just astounding. Claire has this very rare talent that just draws children to her, they all love her and the odd child who takes time to settle sometimes just holds Claire’s hand until they are ready to take that next step. I’ve seen Claire do the whole class with a child on each hand but she never lets their hand go until they are ready. So parents don’t worry about bringing your child/children along as they are looked after from the single minute you walk through the door.

My Daughter has been attending star and stage musical theatre since it first began . Star and Stage is a friendly group where children are encouraged to be themselves and grow in confidence. It’s a place where you can feel safe to express who you are and EVERYONE is given their chance to shine . It’s helped my daughter realise it’s ok to have a go and not be shy and it’s opened up friendships she never thought she would have . The staff that are at star and stage are friendly, supportive and professional. They encourage and promote a good standard of opportunity to all their pupils, but also show they care and make you feel like you're a part of a big family. It’s a place where opportunity is given and dreams can become reality.
